MANIPUR STATE POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANY LIMITED (MSPDCL)

The Bishnupur Division of Manipur State Power Distribution company Limited (MSPDCL) comprises of four sub-divisions viz. Bishnupur Sub-Division, Nambol Sub-Division, Moirang Sub-Division and Kumbi Sub-Division.
Apart from covering the whole area of Bishnupur District, the Division also covers some parts of Sadar Hills in Senapati District, some parts of Henglep and Samulamlan area belonging to Churachandpur District and few parts of Imphal West District at Wangoi Constituency area.

Area of operation under Manager, Nambol Sub-Division, MSPDCL

The allocation of works are Operation & Maintenance works for the area from Kodompokpi Lamkhai to Khwairakpam 33/11 KV Sub-Station including some parts of Sadar Hills area in Senapati District. The work allocation includes the works for collection of Electricity revenue of the above areas.

Area of operation under Manager, Bishnupur Sub-Division, MSPDCL

The allocation of works are Operation & Maintenance works for the area from Khwairakpam 33/11 KV Sub-Station to THinungei Makha (11 KV G.O), some parts of Henglep Sub-Division(till Leimatak) to Thinungei. The work allocation includes the works for collection of Electricity revenue of the above areas.

Area of operation under Manager, Moirang Sub-Division, MSPDCL

The allocation of works are Operation & Maintenance works for the area from Thinungei Makha (11KV G.O) to 33/11 KV Moirang Khunou Sub-Station including Thanga & Karang area and Some portion of Henglep Sub-Division along with Thangjing Hill from Thinungei to Phougakchao Ikhai(near Kangvai). The work allocation includes the works for collection of Electricity revenue of the above areas.

Area of operation under Manager, Kumbi Sub-Division, MSPDCL

The allocation of works are Operation & Maintenance works for the area from 33/11 KV Moirang Khunou Sub-Station to Napat village along with some parts of Samulamlan Sub-Division in Churachandpur District. The work allocation includes the works for collection of Electricity revenue of the above areas.

Rajeev Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) Scheme, XI-Plan

Under this scheme various en-electrified and partially electrified villages had been fully electrified with the installation of new Transformers, 11KV lines, LT lines and free power connection to BPL households. Also 1(one) no. 33/11KV Sub-Station with installation of 1MVA Power Transformer at Wangoo along with feeding 33KV line from Moirang Khunou 33/11KV sub-station have been completed which is ready for commissioning. Once it is commissioned the presently prevailing low voltage in the surrounding area shall be able to improve.
