DISTRICT RURAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (DRDA)
The District Rural Development Agency, Bishnupur was established on 02-10-1983 under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur. The DRDA implements the National Programmes of Poverty Alleviation, infrastructure development and Rural Employment Programmes through the B.D.Os and Gram Panchayats. The Development Blocks namely (1) Bishnupur C.D Blocks and (2) Moirang C.D. Block are the main wings through which the various programmes of the DRDA are implemented.
